Welcome to the Tenth Learning Journey "Business Model Innovation (BMI)" as part of Digital Dexterity Program at Adani Group. It is facilitated by faculty – Tushar Jaruhar. Arun Bansal (CEO – Adani Airports Holding Limited) introduces the topic and contextualizes it for learners.
He highlights the importance of Business Model Innovation, emphasizing its role in reworking business fundamentals beyond product tweaks. He discusses innovation as a competitive advantage in the aviation industry and encourages idea contributions from all roles. Towards the end, Ekta Ghosh (CDO – Airports Business) has summarized the important aspects of Business Model Innovation and highlighted key takeaways from the module.
The journey provides an overview of business model innovation, detailing various forms such as value proposition, customer segment, channel, customer relationship, revenue model, cost structure, key resource, key activities, platform, network/partnership, social and environmental, and technology-driven innovations. It also discusses digital business models like ads-supported, freemium, market-based, subscription-based, and e-commerce-based models. The Journey concludes with an explanation of Business Model Canvas as a strategic tool for developing and describing business models.
This journey also covers use cases study at Adani. These case studies are covered by Sameer Sinha (Head - Technology Business Ventures, Adani) explaining about Brahmaand.AI, a joint venture focusing on AI solutions; Amol Mehra (Chief Business Officer - Trading Business (Adani Natural Resources)) explaining about Adani IRM, which improved operations and customer engagement through Business Model Innovation (BMI); and Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj (CIO - Adani Total Gas Ltd.) explaining he SOUL platform, which aims to transform businesses into digital organizations through data-driven decisions, automation and simplified processes. This is followed by detailed out Business Model Canvas explanation on them by the Faculty.
This structured track wise journey is designed, custom curated with valuable inputs and curriculum defined by our Chief Digital Officers along with eVidyalaya team. As we embark on this journey, a unified understanding and awareness of digital transformation among all employees will be the bedrock of our success.
You are required to follow a structured learning path i.e. start moving from the first learning track that is showing up, move into the next ones post completing it, go through knowledge checks as they arrive in learning path and complete the Final Assessment. Journey will show as completed only when all learning assets and tracks show as completed.
