Design thinking in Action

Welcome to the Fifth Track Titled "Design Thinking in Action". This track discusses how Disney leveraged digital transformation to enhance its customer experience. The core of this transformation is Disney's human-centric Design Thinking approach. Learn the Disney's approach which was based on four pillars: transforming the customer experience, driving operational efficiency, personalization using connected products, and enhanced interactivity across channels. Disney's culture emphasizes a strong quest to understand individual consumers, a cross-disciplinary approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to Design Thinking.  This Track also presents the MIT Design thinking approach with an example. The “Mobilizer” is used as an example here to help assist the elderly to walk. The next iteration could be an IoT solution outfitted with sensors and more, but this depends on what the consumer needs.
