Welcome to the Ninth Learning Journey "Design Thinking" as part of Digital Dexterity Program at Adani Group. It is facilitated by faculty - Kaustubh Dhargalkar. Nitin Sethi (CDO - Consumer Business) introduces the topic and contextualizes it for learners. He discusses the topics to be discussed in the journey starting with exploring design thinking as a problem-solving tool, understanding the underlying principles, identifying the five-step process, and illustrating design thinking in action with real-life examples. Start by learning the fundamentals of design thinking, including its human-centric approach, iterative nature, and emphasis on user needs before technology. Understand how to build empathy by conducting stakeholder analysis, using tools like empathy maps and user journey maps. You will learn the principles of creative thinking, such as Analogical Thinking and Challenging Assumptions, with case studies from Flipkart and the Bottle Bulb project. Learn about the SCAMPER technique and solution by funneling.
This Journey will guide you through prototyping and testing, emphasizing extreme user testing. It concludes with case studies like Disney’s use of design thinking and the MIT and Altitudes’ walker design project.
This structured track wise journey is designed, custom curated with valuable inputs and curriculum defined by our Chief Digital Officers along with eVidyalaya team. As we embark on this journey, a unified understanding and awareness of digital transformation among all employees will be the bedrock of our success.
You are required to follow a structured learning path i.e. start moving from the first learning track that is showing up, move into the next ones post completing it, go through knowledge checks as they arrive in learning path and complete the Final Assessment. Journey will show as completed only when all learning assets and tracks show as completed.
